I obtained my BA in Psychology and Philosophy from UC Berkeley and my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Iowa. My graduate research focused on the benefits of supportive relationships in the lives of high-risk children. I have experience working with adults, children, families, couples, students, and Veterans. I tailor my approach for each person and enjoy seeing clients of a variety of ages and presenting concerns--I am often touched by the slices of human experience that we all share in common.
I am a big theatre and stand-up comedy fan and a former Disneyland employee. I enjoy needle crafting fuzzy sci-fi creatures and spending time with my husband, daughter, and puppy Arya.
